Review of the 2024 Grape Harvest

The 2024 vintage was a complete success. We were able to harvest perfectly ripe and healthy grapes – despite challenging weather conditions with a lot of rainfall in the summer. During this time, we had to react flexibly to the weather to care for the vines as best as possible and protect the grapes from diseases. The last few weeks before the harvest were dry and ideal for the grapes to ripen, allowing us to pick perfectly ripe grapes. We harvested all our grapes in just 3 weeks – faster than ever before.
Now the wines are in stainless steel tanks or wooden barrels, and they are given as much time on the lees as they need to mature optimally and thus perfectly develop their aromas. Depending on the quality level, this ranges from 5 months to almost 2 years for us. In between, the wines are, of course, tasted regularly, and we are already convinced that this vintage will be something very special!
The 2024 vintage is very special for us, as it is our first officially organic-certified vintage. This step is a major milestone for us and an important sign of our winery's sustainable orientation. We are very much looking forward to being able to offer our customers wines in the future that are produced with love and respect for nature.
